While living in San Jose, California I was active in the LGBTQ community serving on the board of the gay chamber, president of an over 300 member gay social club, chairman of the board of the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds (aka Silicon Valley) working with the executive director bringing in more gay entertainment, and also starting one of the first LGBTQ Rotary International clubs there.
