Lunch & Learn: LGBTQ+ and Intersectionality: Dismantling Oppression

During Pride month it is not only important that we celebrate the wins of the LGBTQ community as a whole, but we also highlight the importance of intersectionality within the community. What are the experiences of those within the LGBTQ community that are already a part of additional marginalized groups such as black, disabled, or veterans? Pride also means that we work hard to dismantle the systems of oppression for those who are receiving double oppression. Join us and our panel as we discuss the intersectionality of our community and how we can help contribute to increase safe spaces and dismantle oppression.
