LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance Summit
Join the Texas LGBTQ+ Chambers of Commerce for the 2nd annual LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance Summit. The Summit focuses on building leadership skills, networking, and career development for LGBTQ+ Employee/Business Resource Group leaders.
ERG leaders from across the state of Texas will convene for a full day of programming which includes Mental Health in the Workplace, Table Topics, and BERG Leadership LAB, an exclusive, intensive experience for ERG leaders.
Session Facilitators
Jayzen Patria (LGBTBE) is a personal branding expert and diversity advocate helping transform organizations through the power of people finding their authentic voice and bringing their full selves to work.
A dynamic and inspiring presenter, Jayzen has participated at Out & Equal, SXSW, TEDx, and many more.
Jayzen is a 25-year learning and development veteran of Fortune 100 companies, including General Electric and Comcast NBCUniversal. He has worked with some of the world's top entertainment, tech and media brands, including Bravo, AT&T Entertainment, Univision, Viacom, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and more.
Jayzen will lead Summit attendees through his program, BERG Leadership LAB, an intensive experience for leaders to run BERGs and drive growth in current and future job roles.

Raymond Castilleja Jr., LCSW-S, MBA, MHSM, (he/him/his) is the Director of Behavioral Health, at Prism Health North Texas, a local non-profit severing the LGBTQ+/SOGIE community for over 30 years. As director for the last 8 years, he manages the integration of behavioral health into the primary care setting while also providing psychotherapy to patients and clinical supervision to therapists. Raymond was instrumental to assist the agency to secure two five-year grants worth a total of five million dollars from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, to support the behavioral health department. Raymond also is a psychotherapist in private practice at (www.fuel4mind.com) who supports gay men through life transitions, relationship issues, self-acceptance, and more. Additionally, he supports the community as a member of the SOGIE committee of the Texas National Association of Social Workers. Raymond is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor and holds three master?s degrees in social work, business administration, and health systems management.
In his session, Mental Health in the Workplace, Raymond will present an overview of mental health issues that affect LGBTQ+ employees. He will explain how these challenges contribute to retention rates, job performance, and productivity in the workplace. Raymond will provide effective strategies to create an LGBTQ+ inclusive work environment to support all employees. He will also discuss the importance of self-care and helpful techniques for all employees.
