Join us for Coffee & Commerce celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month! Learn about the vital role LGBTQ+ archives play in safeguarding our stories and experiences for future generations.
Presenter: Alexandra Medina, Archives Clerk at the University of Texas at San Antonio Special Collections and graduate student in history, will share her incredible work in preserving LGBTQ+ history in Texas. Alexandra has been recognized with the Nau Graduate Research Fellowship and numerous awards for her contributions to archiving significant historical sites, including the Blackwell School National Historic Site. Her research focuses on how 20th-century print culture served as a tool of resistance and organization during the fight for gay liberation.
