Join the San Antonio LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the General Consulate of Mexico in San Antonio for an evening of networking, art and culture at the Mexican Cultural Institute, on September 28, from 6-8pm.
Don't miss this opportunity to meet Ricardo Aleman & Ferando Sama the creators of IndiviDUAL an exhibition that calls to reflect about gender identity, it seeks to look further than matter and to recognize ourselves as DUAL energy; we are feminine and masculine, which gives us endless possibilities to understand and love each other.
IndiviDUAL tells the story of a gay couple that, for a septennial, has walked together relating their evolutionary journey, confronting communicational wounds and getting inspired to create. This exercise has flourished their similarities and abilities to fuse almost telepathically, becoming mirrors that search for their own identity.
The exhibit is divided in two collections: Polychromatic Subconscious (Alemán) and Syncretisms (Sama). Both represent past, present and future coexisting in the same time line; as if the Metaphysic Laws were revealed.
